About the event
Workshop Description: Many of us find ourselves in the position of caretaker. We take care of children, our parents, our neighbors and our friends, but we are often exhausted at the end of the day. We may struggle to take care of ourselves. We may even feel lost. We question who we are while also trying to be the best for everyone around us. In this two-day workshop, teaching artists Rob and Amy Crowl will engage participants in the creative processes of writing and theatre-making to explore different ways to answer the questions that truly matter- Who are we? Why does our work matter? What do we have to offer the world? Participants will be empowered to express themselves and their own personal literacies through narrative, poetry, movement and improvisation with the hopes that we emerge with a new sense of the richness of the life within us.
