    Clay

If you want to use clay on the clay table, it can be purchased from Armadillo Clay.  Even if you are not planning to fire what is made, please purchase cone 6 mid fire clay so we keep the same cone clay in the workshop.  Armadillo will have multiple options for cone 6.  Cinco Blanco is one we use often.  Porcelain is nice but also very soft and I think harder to work with.  There are price differences between the types of clay but the staff can help you with that.  Any clay that fires to cone 6 will work.

  • A wide selection of miniatures may be available for use when applicable. These can support sandtray work, creative exploration, teaching, and experiential activities.

  • The space includes a well-equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, tea kettle, and toaster. Guests also have access to two gender-neutral bathrooms, five dedicated parking spaces including one accessible space, and ample free street parking.
